Erich Dieckmann, Bauhaus
Pair of Armchair
Beechwood
Designed for "Gelenka DDP", Weimarer Republik (today Germany), 1933.
It consists of beechwood pieces connected to a metal tension sprung articulated seat and back.
Fewer exemplars have been produced of this chair than any other design of Dieckmann.
In good condition overall, with a beautiful natural patina. Few extra screws has been added under the seat to maintain the stability.
From a private provenance.
