Manufactured by PP Møbler, Denmark, manufacturing date, 1998.

A rare variant in rosewood dyed oak and green leather upholstered, All six chairs are signed "Hans J. Wegner" and dated.

The "PP66" was designed in 1945 and became the quintessential modern outcome of Wegner’s studies of traditional Chinese chairs from the Ming Dynasty.

The "PP56" version with the upholstered seat was added in 1989.

Provenance from an executive bank officer, Frankfurt, Germany.
