This library consists of a three-tier assembled bookshelves, two are open and one with glissade teak doors. All built in wood.

 

B.C.C (Bureau Centrale de Construction) was a French project of habitation and housewares to provide a modern and affordable living to everyone. Created in December 1939 in Grenoble by George Blanchon and joined by Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouvet.

Charlotte Perriand was a "radical" revulutionary thinker who wanted to make great design accessible to all, Perriand combined European and Asian influences to create some of the most important influenceable furniture of the 20th century. Doted of a stunning architectural simplicity and timeless aesthetic. Together with Pierre Jeanneret they found "Le Corbusier" and with her partnership with "Jean Prouvet", the duo created important historical pieces.
