Jørgen Høvelskov
"Harp" Chair (1st edition)
Manufactured by Christensen & Larsen Mobelhandvaerk, Copenhagen, Denmark, 1963.
It consists of a massive ebonised ash frame with original flag line, imitating a harp shape.
More than just a chair, an Art piece: The "Harp" chair's form was based on a Viking ship's bow section.
The figuration of flag halyards gives the design a powerful optical quality.
In very good original condition
Provenance from a private design collector, Hamburg, Germany.
