This rare and elegant chair has been part of our collection for many years, much before the Danish design became popularly known.
This chair was purchased in a second-hand furniture store in Copenhagen as "Ib Kofod Larsen".
There is no stamps or attributional marks.
Considering that the owner of the shop was selling exclusively "Danish"and he was specialized in
Danish furniture at the time, the shop no long exist.
At the time only few people heard or read the name of such designers even in Denmark, mostly of the
designer were unknown by the younger generation. At this time the Danes burned these "old ugly furnitures" in their
yards. Few were saved from extinction, an extinction caused by ignorance and rejection of the "old".
