This Brazilian modernist sofa in the style of "Jorge Zalszupin" and "Percival Lafer" is part of our first remastered series work elaborated in our ateliers, part of our "Resmatered Timeless Collection" project.
A project to transform every single piece in an unique piece. Giving a new life, to rescue "damaged piece of an extraordinary value" from being delivered to extintion.
The damaged dark varnish that was giving an old aspect to the sofa frame has been removed giving a place to an organic Thai "lemon-shellac" varnish.
The Brazilian cowhide has replaced the thick ecrú canvas cussion, valuing the lines and the "sling" itself, giving a lighter" aspect to the piece and adding more comfort, at same time increasing the "modern-tropicalism" side of the design.
